Subject: [acting-251] Adult Acting Lessons

Hello all:

I wrote last week about a trial acting class that my school was offering. I know some of you expressed an interest but weren't able to attend, but have no fear! We're offering another free trial this Wednesday, 9/16, at 7:45 pm. Also, we have finalized our lesson plan for the adult section. It will run for eight weeks, weekly, at the unbeatable tution of $180.  The classes are taught by our director, Mr. Phil Hosford, who has many years of professional acting experience. The program we offer, The Actor's Garage, was founded by Ann Gray Graf, a professional actress in NYC who has appeared on "The Sopranos" and "Law and Order."  The class will emphasize improvization as a technique for learning how to study scripts and how to better understand and portray characters. This is a perfect opportunity for those who've just caught the acting bug to get their feet wet, and if you already have some experience, this is a great way to refine your performance and audition techniques. Additionally, we will host an "Agent Day" in which all students are invited to meet witha  professional casting agent. Several of our students were invited for representation last semester, and one young lady won a role in an MSNBC documentary. Additionally, we hope to invite area casting directors to the school for mock auditions.

So, if you're curious, I encourage you to come out for the no-obligation trial sessiont his Wednesday to see if it's a good fit for you. If money's an issue, we can work something out. Any questions, please don't hesitate to write me or call the school at[masked]-9705.

Hope to see you there,

Peter Rouleau
