What is your zip code?

Do you own a whitewater kayak? Please share what it is.

Yes. I currently have a Jackson 4Fun and a Piranha Z-one

What is your whitewater kayaking skill level?

Well, I used to do class V in Colorado, but that was when I could play at the water parks several times a week. After a bit of that I got old and scared and moved to New Mexico. That was about 6 years ago and have basically just been doing class III+ there. Pretty happy on intermediate water now, but capable of more if I find myself in the thick of it. A second comment on the skill/play level - I am an old timer in that I tend to think that flipping the boat in play spots is just silly - If I wanted to be underwater I'd skip the kayak and get a dime store inflatable toy and "tube" the danged river. I like surfing, but want to keep it a 2 dimensional activity.

What are you most looking forward to as a member of this group?

Meeting folks and learning new rivers.

Do you have a vehicle? If so, how many kayaks can it carry?

I have an old Suburban with vinyl seats and a trailer, so I can haul 7+ boaters and their gear. I also have a very understanding wife who likes to earn shuttle bunny points

Howdy, I just moved to Northern VA. I've been boating in Colorado and New Mexico and look forward to enjoying the area's water.
