WS2 - starting 2016 solid with concrete

Dear crafters,

We hope that all of you had wonderful holidays and already look forward to a creative and exciting 2016.

During our second workshop, we want to work with concrete. Formerly a classical construction material, it has recently found its way into crafting. Many interesting objects such as candle holders, vases and even jewelry can be made from concrete. We will provide all the necessary material to get you started and ask for a 10€ material fee + 2,50€ room charge. There will be a selection of projects to work on, but feel free to bring your own ideas!

Additionally to what we provide, please bring:

• Collected, empty plastic containers such as yogurt cups or PET bottles

• Clothing which isn't super sensitive

• Your own gloves in case you are latex allergic

• Any molds or paint you might need for your own special object

PS:

• Please remember that our workshops are a place for experimentation and creativity and not a class room. :) Let's make cool stuff together!

• We have to plan ahead financially so we have to be a little more strict with no-shows and late declines! Please be a reliable member of our group and do not cancel less than 48 hrs before the workshop.

• In case any money is left after buying the material, it will be used for future workshops / snacks / etc. - we hope this is cool with you!
