Ruby is a very powerful OOP language, while at the same time
fairly intuitive and easy to learn and understand.
At the end of the day, Rails is all about helping you stay
productive and happy while building awesome web applications.
If you have experience in front end development, it will be
easier for you to understand things fast. You can come in for
the meet, apart from sessions, there will be many people who
can guide you to start learning ruby and ruby on
    rails.

11 people RSVPed Yes and 9 actually turned up. And only 2 were from the Organizing company, VinSol. On a day when Barcamp Delhi was also being held, I would call this a success. So the idea of moving the meetup to a Saturday instead of Thursday worked. The presentations/talks were also great. We hope to start going into more depth on all topics subsequently. I had a great time. Thanks All!!

I appreciate the Ni Dilli Ruby team's efforts to bring people with same mindset on same platform and providing them opportunity to excel in Ruby on rails. Such meets can encourage guys to learn and contribute to the community at the same time. This was my first meetup and I found it quite interesting. Inspite of being from microsoft technologies, am hoping to attend more meetups and actively contribute to the community.

It was quite fun. The session taken up by Sur was really great and very informative. Amit told us about what problems new people face when coming to the Ruby or Rails. His tips on improving the performance and handling the jobs in an application were really nice. Hoping to see some more on this from Amit. The last session taken by Kapil was also good. The best part of all this was that people are very helpful to newbies and fun loving.
