A High Note of Adventurous Cuisine: DAEC Dinner at Aria
Details
Chef Michael Long and his highly praised Littleton digs, Opus, have always treated the Denver Adventurous Eaters Club very well. Chef Michael is one of many chefs who would love to have a menu board loaded with the types of items that scream to people like us (sometimes literally), the great consumers of the offal and adventurous. He does realize that, unfortunately, there is limited appeal for our gutsy gastronomic goodies amongst the general Denver dining public. Of course, our fair bundle of tripe gobblers is working to change that, and Chef Michael has proven he is more than willing to assist.
In December Chef Michael added Aria, located in Cherry Creek, to his current dining establishment repertoire. It has garnished high praise from those in the know and is reflective of the Chef’s signature passions for new twists and playful turns on cuisine. Here is bit of Westword Food Porn from Aria’s opening in December: http://blogs.westword.com/cafesociety/2010/12/michael_long_aria.php .
Chef Michael has been eager to get this group in to try the new digs, and I am all too happy to oblige, given his outstanding track record with the DAEC. I am pleased to announce that on Sunday, August 14th at 6:00pm we will make it happen.
