Before you all freak out about the blackberry sponsorship on the page,
I wanted to post a message to the group.

Friday, I got an email about the Blackberry wanting to sponsor this
group. I looked at it, and it did not seem to obtrusive since there
did not seem to be any nagging involved plus they were offering up
$50/month for it. I thought it could be cool to get the meetup paid
for and also have some cash left over to buy some coffee for those who
come to the meetup. For these reasons, I have accepted the
sponsorship.

Due to this acceptance, I have removed the membership dues option on
the front page since it would be silly to keep it while we try out the
sponsorship. This still leaves us with about $40 for coffee and other
goodies. This will have to be on a first come, first serve basis
though. I have not talked to the venue about how they want to handle
this yet, but I will see about getting there early before the next
meetup to work it out.

If we find that it becomes annoying, I can always cancel the
sponsorship and we can go back to the way things used to be.
