Denver Wine Meetup Members:

I just wanted to thank everyone for a wonderful event last night. We had over 110 plus the winemaker and press (Westword and HerLife Magazine who will be covering us in a future issue. Her Life is launching on Feb 20 http://www.herlifemag... see their website for details ). I want to thank my helpers Pam and Lynn and our photographer Steve who will get photos up shortly.

Many of you woke up as "dazed" and confused as me when you saw the new Meetup interface. The meetup HQ keeps tinkering to compete with facebook. Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with where they have put things.

Our next event is coming up soon, just 2 weeks away....and it's filling up FAST.   We have the youngest member of the winemaking team at Michael and David Winery visiting us so I think we will have younger crowd. Derek Devries, will be bringing his Seven Deadly Zins, Incognito Rhone style wines along with several other "sinfully delicious" wines....a sinfully delicious tour of Lodi.     Our event is at the Historic Baur's Restaurant near the Convention Center light rail stop, and on the same block as Rialto (if you attended the November event).

It's an interesting story with a lot of photos of history in the restaurant. Jimmy is one of the founders of Quiznos. He sold off his interest and in 2007 bought the shell of Baur's and restored it to new with some of the look and feel. It's a beautiful place and they are excited to have our group. Please RSVP NOW with payment to hold your spot. RSVP on the meetup is NOT an RSVP for any of our wine and food pairing events, you must go to the payment link. Our events sell out and ladies sell out before men.

When: Thursday February 10, 2011 6:00 PM at Historic Baur's Restaurant: Sinfully Delicious! Michael and David Winery young winemaker and production manager Derek Devries at Baur's restaurant downtown, right off the light rail!
Payment Link: (this is the only RSVP we count)
