Everyday Culture Officers - Speaker Webinar - Dan Willis of UX Crank!

Details

Dan Willis (http://www.dswillis.com/) - designer, sketch artists, observer, unofficial comedian, and infamous tweeter (@uxcrank).

Dan Willis, a user experience consultant based in Washington, D.C., has been designing all sorts of crap for the Web since the mid 1990s. Willis was washingtonpost.com (http://washingtonpost.com/)’s first User Experience Director and later had the same gig at PBS.org. He is the creator of UX Crank (www.uxcrank.com (http://www.uxcrank.com/)), a highly opinionated resource for UX professionals. He presented at the last four South by Southwest Interactive Festivals, a few of the Interaction Design Association's annual conferences, and way too many Information Architecture Summits.

Grab your lunch at home, the office, or a cafe and log on and enjoy learning and laughing with us!

(you can dial in on the road - but please be safe and pull over to dial in!!!)

What to Expect/How to log-on:

  1. We will be holding our webinar through GoToMeeting

  2. The day before the event I will message the log-in info to those who have RSVP-ed

  3. GoToMeeting is pretty easy to use - just click on the link and you are connected. If you cannot use VOIP you can dial in on your phone. If you can't sit down at a laptop or computer you can dial in and just listen.

  4. The rule is that everyone will be MUTED (could get crazy with 50 talking). If you have questions or issues there is a Chat box in GoToMeeting where you can send your questions (privately to just me or publicly to everyone listening in)
