Every year, we try to bring you a lead story from a local freelancer who has done it. Who succeeded against all odds and found a way to profit in this demanding and well competitive market. Prospecting Freelancer is about just that.

So let's get on starting...

On Tuesday, February 19th from 7:30pm, this will be our 6th Annual Prospecting Freelancer. In this visit, we decided to do something new. Something fresh; something inspiring. We are not only presenting you with a vision to learn this mans story, his life, his fruitions and failures. We are putting you in the same space where ingenuity been created for some of the World's best local and international brands. You will be able to bum out on the same pad who developed for Samsung, CBC, Quiznos, Johnson & Johnson, Oprah Winfrey Network, TheScore, travelocity, Google, Scotiabank, David Suzuki Foundation.... and while the list goes on...

Within the last 6 years he has co-founded a learning facility, Yorkville Media Centre – created one of Canada's most successful open-source technology events, AndroidTO, deployed nearly $700k into early stage startups, incubated revenue generating startups and has grown one of Canada's fastest growing innovation companies. He is on the board of advisors at CYBF GEW and many Canada and US startups; an active angel investor and a thought leader in Toronto's digital media industry.

He has been recognized as one of Canada's Top 30 Under 30 marketers and his company was ranked this year as one of Canada’s Top New Growth Companies in Profit 50. Alkarim Nasser remains a leader in the industry and as the President & Founder of BNOTIONS.

Inspired to make a difference in the local and international scene, BNOTIONS plays a huge role in the recruiting space. While constantly in search of real flavour, BNOTIONS is always open to give direction to make your books better. On Tuesday, February 19rd, in this WIFI enabled corner space Front & George St, YOU will make a pit stop to jive your juices; listen to Alkarim's story and have your books reviewed by some of his industry's leading talent AND maybe maybe.. join forces to one of the 500+ fingers working away at this ever-growing shop.

Whatever you do to remind yourself, make sure to bring LOTS of cards and your portfolio. You never know who you might connect with. Rejoin with old friends; make some new ones over some delicious treats and soothing beverages. It takes $15 to RSVP your spot before someone takes yours. All proceeds will help cover expenses in making this event a reality. AND BOY IS IT REAL.
