I rescued Chip (or should I say he rescued me) about 2 years ago. I had lost my long-hair doxie (Heidi) after 15 years of pure joy and was terribly depressed. After several months, my husband told me to get another one. We had agreed that we wouldn't get another dog due to our health and age. I contacted Forgotten Angels in W. Bloomfield and they found me the perfect new little guy, Chip. Not a day goes by now that he doesn't make me laugh. And now, after losing my husband, he's such a comfort.
They are very distinct personalities, cuddly, and just plain fun to have around.
Chip is a tweenie, short-hair and is black and tan.
I don't know since he came to me as a rescue. I celebrate the month he came home which is October 21st.
I've had doxies throughout my life and they are definitely my favorite breed. I'm a recent widow so Chip has been such a comfort. I love to sew and quilt and Chip keeps me company in my sewing room.
