DevOps:MK - February 2016

DevOps:MK will be back on February 10th, with our first meetup of 2016, kindly hosted by Home Retail Group at their fabulous office in CMK - a short walk from MK Central Station.

We will follow the usual format with three great tech talks/live demos on the night, plus time to meet, and catch up with new and old friends.

As always there will be food and drink provided.

The running order will be as follows:

6:00PM, Arrive, get a drink!

6:30PM, Talks.

7:30PM, Pizza, beer, and social.

8:30PM, Close.

Talks on the night:

Talk 1: Keep Ch.A.L.M.S. and do ChatOps - Carl H

DevOps:MK organiser Carl H will talk about DevOps culture and how Chat can make DevOps better.

Talk 2: Logging logs with Logstash - Steve Howe

Steve H, DevOps Engineer at RetailMeNot will give an introduction to the popular log collection tool Logstash, plus a live demo of an ELK setup in action.

Talk 3: VMWare in the DevOps space - Kim Ranyard

Kim R, Solutions architect at VMware will talk about VMWare's upcoming support for containers in the Cloud Native space, and the CodeStream Continuous Delivery solution.
