What: The San Diego Democracy for America March Meetup
When: Wednesday, March 3,[masked]:00 PM
9353 Clairemont Mesa Blvd.
San Diego, CA 92123
[masked]***An URGENT Message from Our Party Chair Jess Durfee !!! ***
Can you imagine the ways the County Board of Supervisors could spend $100,000? Funding for the Arts? Food Stamps for the Poor? Beach Clean-ups up and down the coast? Fire protection?
Whatever your passion, you probably don?t think the Board should spend $100,000 to place an irrelevant initiative on the ballot to ban requiring Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
*(The County would be banning something that has never been asked for or contemplated at the County).
On Tuesday 2/23/2010, the Board will decide whether to simply pass an ordinance (at no cost to the taxpayers) or place an initiative on the ballot (at the cost of $100,000).
Pam Slater-Price is the swing vote. Please call her, email her and fax her and tell her NOT TO WASTE TAXPAYERS MONEY, vote against placing an initiative on the ballot.
*(Ballot to ban requiring Project Labor Agreements (PLAs).
