About The DFW Event Planning Meetup Group

Thank you for your interest in the DFW Event Planning group. We are a friendly, energetic and supportive group. We welcome all Event Planners and Vendors to the Meetups. Whether you are new to Event Planning or working in the industry we are here to give you the support and encouragement you need.

This is a non-affiliated group, we have no ties to other Event Planning groups, or to religous, political, or other clubs or organizations. Everyone is welcome here, as long as you are respectful of other people's choices. No bashing, flaming, or spamming - please. Disrespect of the above rules will result in your removal from the group.

We meet every fourth Thursday at a restaurant in the DFW area. Saturday or Sunday events are generally trips to a local attraction. We would love to meet you at our next event.

In between meetings we communicate through email or the message boards. We are an informal group that is constantly growing and changing to meet the needs of all its members. We encourage you to spread the word to other planners about our group. Feel free to invite as many guests as you like.

There is a 5.00 charge every meeting. This is to help support Meetup and for all that they do for us. Pay Pal is now listed on the site and you can pay through them. If you decide to pay me at the meetings that is fine also.
