Hey everyone! I hope you are getting out during this great weather and capturing some images! Remember we always have a weekly photo challenge so you are never at a loss for a reason to pick up your camera!

Ok, on with news of classes and events!

Tonight there are two classes being taught. Portrait Retoucing Techniques using Lightroom is a webinar based class that starts at 7 pm tonghti. Learn from the comfort of your own home! You should sign up by 6pm though so Eric will have time send you the URL to log in for the webinar.

Also tonight, I am teaching a class in our "How To Shoot" series. This class will be "How to Shoot: SPORTS!" This is being taught at the DFW Photo Studio and there are only a handful of spots left. So if you are interested in attending, check out the meetup website.

Thursday night is a Advanced Strobist Techniques Class. This is a great class if you are wanting to learn about shooting with your speedlights.

Saturday our Outdoor Portraits Made Easy class in being taught once again. If you want to learn some simple techniques to improve your outdoor portrait skills, this is a great class.

And finally, next Tuesday night, Photography 102: Camera Operatins and Exporsure Basics Part II.  A continuatin of our basic camera and exposure class.

But our group isn't just about classes.  Check out some upcoming events.  This Saturday, I hope you will come out and join us at SCARBOROUGH FAIRE!  We are officially meeting in the afternon but many photographers are going to go early.  So check out the comments on the event page if you want to meet early.  I hope you will come out.  (Also, I believe you can get discount advanced tickets at Tom Thumb).

Hey the Bluebonnets came early this year, but this weekend the City of Ennis is having their Bluebonnet Festival.  This isn't an "official" event, but I wanted to mention ti because it can be a lot of fun with many great photo opportunities.  And the folks at Ennis are more than happy to let you know where the best Bluebonnets to be photographed are located.  So look on our calendar for more information about this event.

And finally, next Monday is our monthly dinner meeting,.  We will have it at Buffalo Wild Wings in Grapevine,  So I hope you will consider joining us.
