About us
Discovery Unlimited (DU) is a brand-new initiative born under the Adventures Unlimited (AU) STB license TA02844 umbrella.
DU is built on a simple belief: travel is richest when we slow down, look closely, and capture the spirit of the places we explore. We bring together mindful travel, creative expression, and open exploration—without the rigid pressure of formal masterclasses or expensive camera gear.
Whether you carry a high-end camera body or just love taking photos on your phone, DU is about seeing the world with fresh eyes.
We believe in guidance and sharing, not formal instruction or hand-holding.
There is zero expectation for technical perfection. DU trips and walks are designed for everyone: passionate shutterbugs, casual mobile photographers, and non-photographer friends or partners who simply want to soak in scenic, vibrant trails together.
Whether you are here for the trails, the community, or the creative moments in between, there is a place for you in Discovery Unlimited.

Discover Western Sichuan Through Your Lens | 18–26 March 2027
Chengdu, Chengdu, Sichuan, China, CN📸 Discover Western Sichuan Through Your Lens | 18–26 March 2027
What happens when snow-capped mountains meet valleys filled with pear blossoms, traditional Tibetan villages and vast highland grasslands? You get a part of China that offers far more than beautiful scenery.
Join me, Wilson Wong, on a 9-day photographic journey through Western Sichuan with Adventures Unlimited. We will explore the region’s landscapes and culture while learning to see and photograph these places in new ways.📷 Bring your smartphone or camera.
Come away with better photographs. This is more than a sightseeing trip. Along the way, there will be photo guidance and practical training for both smartphone photographers and camera users. Whether you are using your phone to capture travel memories or carrying a dedicated camera, I will share tips and techniques to help you make better use of your equipment.
We will explore how to compose landscapes, work with available light, capture the details that make a place special and tell a story through photographs. The aim is to help you develop your photographic skills while enjoying the journey, rather than simply rushing from one attraction to another.🌸 Highlights of our Western Sichuan adventure
🏔️ Mount Siguniang — Photograph dramatic snow peaks, turquoise lakes and magnificent mountain scenery.
🌸 Jinchuan Valley — Discover spring blossoms against mountain backdrops and explore ways to work with colour, layers and composition.
🏡 Zhonglu Tibetan Village — Photograph traditional Tibetan homes, ancient watchtowers and blossom-covered hillsides, with time to explore at a more relaxed pace.
🏞️ Tagong Grassland and Yala Snow Mountain — Capture sweeping highland landscapes, prayer flags and the distinctive culture of the Tibetan plateau.
🏯 Muya Monastery and Moshi Park — Explore the colours and details of Tibetan architecture alongside the dramatic rock formations of this distinctive landscape.
The itinerary also includes time to explore at leisure, giving us opportunities to observe our surroundings, practise what we learn and discover photographic possibilities along the way.You do not need an expensive camera to join us. A smartphone is a perfectly good starting point. If you already use a dedicated camera, you can work on developing your skills further. The important thing is to be curious, enjoy the experience and be willing to try something different.
