2nd Fireworks Practice Session + Conservatory Macro Shoot

2nd Practice before the Big Event.

It will be a Gardens by the Bay extravaganza!

Now we know how it is to be expected for the shoot, then one can actually be mentally and equipment prepared (yes I heard you Terry!) for the shoot on the 4th.

And I cannot emphasized it enough, it is Gardens by the Bay EAST. DO NOT shortchange the whole name as one missing piece equals to a world's apart by a body of water unless you love walking long distances and/or swimming.

To be extremely sure, please tell the driver to go to Tanjung Rhu, then Rhu Cross and then look for the Sign to go Marina Bay Golf Course and either go to the car park straight on (not turning left into the golf course) or drop off at the visitor centre. Public bus is 158.

I personally do not like to use UWA and Fisheye lens for fireworks and hence I prefer to shoot as it is. Hence this place is really just perfect for people who are just starting out to enjoy photography with kit lens as wide angle lens (11-18mm) and fish eye (anything less than 11mm) will be too wide for this location. So please take note.

Wired Shutter Release and tripod are essential. Filter set for sunset as optional. If you want to buy any of these items, please go to http://wilzworkz.ownashop.com and collect from me at the outing.

As the 4th August will have 25% more fireworks, it will be more spectacular and hopefully with something that will shoot higher than the MBS.

I will be close the the location of last weekend As I am looking for a tighter Perspective and perhaps will let go of the flyer altogether.

There will be an additional activity: Conservatory Shoot.

I will be going back to the 2 conservatories to shoot flowers and get details I have missed during my last trip there from 1pm onwards. So if you are interested to go to the 2 domes/conservatory/fake environment, you can join me as well.

For both events please note meeting place and timing
1pm Visitor Centre of the GBTB SOUTH (where the super trees are)
4.30pm Visitor Centre of the GBTB EAST (where the Marina Bay Golf Course Entrance is)
