Explore the history of Texas and San Antonio on this four-day instructional photo tour with Jason Odell & Deborah Sandidge. On this tour we'll discover the history of old San Antonio, including the famous Alamo and surrounding missions. We'll also get creative photographing San Antonio's unique River Walk and night life. We'll visit El Mercado in the Market square, one of the largest open-air markets of its kind. We have also arranged for special after-hours access to Mission San José (http://www.nps.gov/media/photo/gallery.htm?id=CE6C2F07-155D-451F-67E3039B09234BB1), where we will be able to do blue-hour photography and light-painting.

Dr. Jason P. Odell is a professional photographer from Colorado, USA. Jason's passion for photography started at a young age when his parents built a darkroom in their garage. Jason's interest in the outdoors and nature led him down the path of science, and he earned a doctorate in biology from the University of California Riverside.

Jason is probably best-known for his comprehensive imaging software guides, which he started publishing in 2006 at Luminescence of Nature Press (http://www.luminescentphoto.com/webstore/index.html).
