Washington D.C. Monuments and Cherry Blossoms

Join us for a four-day instructional photo tour of the nation's capitol during the spring cherry blossom season. This group is led by professional photographers Deborah Sandidge and Jason Odell. Each day, you'll explore new ways of capturing the essence of Washington, D.C. using a variety of creative techniques.

• Cherry Blossoms along the tidal basin

Techniques

We will focus on a wide range of creative photography techniques, including:

• Composition and lens choice

• Close-ups

• Twilight/Blue Hour

• Long Exposures

• Digital Infrared

• High Dynamic Range (HDR)

• Multiple Exposure

• Cinemagraphs and time-lapse videos

Each participant will receive an assignment list and there will be informal critique sessions every afternoon.

Refund Policy

Participants who cancel prior to January 29th will be refunded their workshop fee less a 10% cancellation fee. Cancellations after January 29th are non-refundable, unless the workshop sells out. If your space is filled you will be refunded your workshop tuition less a 10% cancellation fee.
