Metro Philly Monday Night Supper Club
For couples and singles. Everyone is welcome!
Supper clubs appeared in the US in 1930's and 40's, and became popular spots for people to dine, dance and socialize.

Our group, while young at heart is geared toward those in their 40's plus.
While the focus may start out as the dining part of our evening, conversations, laughter and friendship are what we are all about.
Everyone is encouraged to suggest new restaurants to visit. Let's experience all that this wonderful city has to offer. We can also consider music venues, dinner-theater events and gatherings not yet enjoyed.
Our goal is to have a group of friends that look forward to getting together to catch up and welcome new members as well.
What is The Metro Philly Monday Night Supper Club?
We're a group of social folks who go out to random area restaurants about
twice a month. Originally the 'regular' nights were Mondays but because many restaurants, especially BYOBs, aren't open on Monday we are now varying our days. You can find a longer description about the group on the About
page.Is this a good way to meet social people and get to know Philly's restaurant scene?
Absolutely!Can I recommend a place to try?
Please do. Visit our Suggested Restaurants
discussion thread and add your suggestions there. How many people usually come to these dinners?
We limit each dinner/event to around 15 attendees so that we can enjoy everyone's company. Is it mostly regulars? Will I be "the new guy" or one of many newcomers?
We have many regulars but newcomers are always welcomed - its a friendly group! How long does it take?
Best to assume dining events take about 2 hours comfortably. You can generally eat and duck out in about 2.5 hours if you need to get somewhere. So ? RSVP accordingly. How would you describe the membership demographics? What are the people like?
40's, 50's and up, friendly, educated, worldly and fun.Does the group really have hundreds of active members?
We have over two hundred members. Is this a singles group?
No. There are plenty of those around if that's what you want. Some members participate in this group as well as various singles groups in Philly. However, everybody in the group is looking to meet new people. It's why we're here. How do the organizers pick restaurants?
We try to stay in center city or nearby because many of the active members don't drive. We try to vary up the restaurant selections as much as we can (in terms of atmosphere, price, cuisine, neighborhood, ext.) so you can experience it all and so we are sure to, at least sometimes, have what you're looking for. After that, it's a variety of factors: member suggestions, reviews [media/personal/etc], metro-friendly, personal experience, etc. What do I do if I have a question I don't see answered here?
the Organizer by e-mail.
