I'm not a Hamilton native and I'm still learning about the community and all it has to offer. I'm looking forward to new adventures in epicure and whatever else happens along the way, particularly involving music, theatre, long and short term travel.

Hi Nadine, are you still going to the concert on Thursday? I wasn't able to get a ticket near yours, but further back. Do you want to meet at the theatre?

Thank you so much for giving me a ride home. The meet up group that I was telling you about is called Single Travel Partners. We're going on a 7 day Caribbean cruise on Jan 19. It starts at @ $580. I think she still has some 2 available space.

Place batter in loaf pan and bake until dark golden brown and a skewer comes out clean about 60 to 65 min. Transfer to a rack, let stand 15 min., run a knife around the edge and transfer the loaf to a rack for cooling.
Glaze- whisk 2/3 cup icing sugar with 2 tbsp. pumpkin ale and sprinkle top with pumpkin seeds.
I got the ale from the LCBO at Fennel and Upper James
I am making them and freezing them.

Hi Nadine - here is the Pumpkin Ale Sweet Bread Recipe
Preheat oven to 350 - it makes a large loaf
Stir - 1and 3/4 cups of flour, 1 tsp. baking soda, 1 tsp. pumpkin pie spice (after the first time I used 2 tsp) and 1/2 tsp. salt in a bowl.
Wisk - 2 eggs, 1 cup brown sugar in another bowl then add 1cup pumpkin puree, 1/3 cup of ale, 1/4 cup canola oil and 1 tsp of vanilla. Combine with flour mixture (I also added walnuts) - the batter will be thick. will continue in next post.
