South: stable and database-independent migrations with Anna Callahan

Details
The South migration package (http://south.readthedocs.org/) is about to become part of Django proper -- and it’s about time! South is a must-have tool for keeping your database updated.
This talk will introduce South, cover the basics, and dive into a few more advanced uses. In addition to a well-rounded intro, we’ll cover: schema migrations, data migrations, and rolling back; how South deals with model inheritance; and shortcuts to hairy data migrations like moving models from one app to another.
