Django sprint with core developer Jannis Leidel

I’m very happy to announce that we will host a two-day Django sprint. A Django sprint is basically an excuse for people to focus their undivided attention, for a set time frame, on improving Django. It's a focused, scheduled effort to test, fix bugs, add new features and improve documentation. Read more

Thanks to the Django Software Foundation Django core developer Jannis Leidel from Berlin will be there in person. He will give an introduction into how sprints work and try to answer any questions about Django internals to the best of his abilities during sprinting.

Make sure to also check out our page for this sprint in the Django wiki. If you're travelling to Stockholm you can find some useful information in there.

Prepare yourself in advance
If you're new to contributing preparation might take one day so make sure you do it as soon as possible. Read and go through all the 10 steps in Prepare for the Sprint. You don't want to waste all the sprint time for preparation and setup.

Open for Django users
If you're a total beginner on Django and Python, this event is probably not for you. Please attend our upcoming meetups instead. If you're already a Django user and know Python. Great! This is the perfect excuse for you to get started also hacking on Django.

Django 1.5
We will be focused on getting 1.5 RC1 as stable and bug-free as possible. It’s scheduled for release on November 26, one week after the sprint.

Have you guys read the article DN-posted? They misspelled "Django" in the text on three places. "Djangis" :P http://twileshare.com/uploads/DN_Jobb_och_Karri%C3%A4r.pdf
