Dorkbot Indy 0x10 - Get (Circuit) Bent

Details
Start raiding your local Goodwill, Salvation Army and Toys R Us clearance isle now because it's time for another circuit bending night!
If you don't know what circuit bending is, it's described by Wikipedia as the "creative customization of the circuits within electronic devices" - or better described in videos such as these:
Bratz Keyboard: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pKoRdBxssfU
Furby: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=723rEb0CbGI
And the terrifying Wiggles Guitar: https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&v=ytgS3k0gYQM
So what should you be looking for at your local Goodwill etc? Mostly toys that make noise. Musical instruments are the some of the best. From there we'll be opening them up, and probing around with alligator clips to see what glitches we can find. Much like this basic tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mY1FBXTi3zg . While not every toy has interesting bends, half the fun is finding the ones that do.
Once you find a bend you like there are lots of things you can do - adding a switch (like in the video), push buttons, potentiometers, and other variable resistance bits. This way you can toggle your bend or control pieces of it.
Search around on the internet! There are lots of resources and videos of people doing really interesting things!
Hope to see you!
