In February my wife and I attended "Casablanca" at the Heights theater in Minneapolis. I had seen this great classic at home a number of times, but I had no idea what it would be like to see it in a beautifully restored theater with a few hundred other people. We laughed, clapped and cheered together and I saw something I hadn't seen in decades. I saw virtually every person smiling on their way to their cars. It was ELECTRIC!!

On April 1st I rented out the Heights and arranged to have "Ben-Hur" shown. Would it work again? Oh yeah, that night was truly inspirational. The dream of Dreamers Empire is to recapture the future by looking to the past. Movies, especially the old Epic classics like Ben-Hur, Fiddler on the Roof, The Sound of Music and Lawrence of Arabia are truly inspirational films.

I hope you will join our group and find out what fun you can have at the movies again. I plan on arranging an inspirational movie about every other month at the Heights in Columbia Heights. Come laugh and cheer with us, its only $8 and you will have an incredible time.

Our next movie is "Fiddler on the Roof" on Thursday, Aug 27th, an incredibly rich classic I know you will all enjoy! Hope to see you there.

Gettysburg - quite simply put the best Civil War film ever made. I'm posting this WAY early to let you know because I think this film will sell out. In fact, we are "entertaining" the idea of adding a second night if things go quickly. Why? Well, thanks to Don from our Classic Film group we will have local Civil War "Re-Enactors" from our area coming in full uniform! This is going to be an incredibly fun night. Read more
