People in New York always seem to say, "This is a tough city in which to meet people." This group was designed to make it a whole lot easier. Drinking with Strangers is about bringing people together, whether new to the area or native, and meeting up at a local bar, restaurant, or event without the formalities associated with the usual scene.
Drinking with Strangers is a place where friendly people can come out and enjoy good company with other easy-going, receptive people for drinks, eats, socializing, and making new friends.
Drinking with Strangers is free to join, and is currently a work in progress. Any suggestions or ideas are appreciated. We'll try to keep the rules to a minimum. I do have one:
Don't create an awkward environment for others. Members who are not respectful and friendly towards others will be removed from the group.

This group is open for all - singles, married people, new-in-towners, and people who have been in the tri-state area for a while and are simply looking for a new group to go out with in NYC. Membership is FREE, and you only have to be friendly and fun to join!

Join our tour guide host for a fun evening of socializing and exploring inside Grand Central Terminal, one of NYC’s most iconic landmarks. Packed with history, architectural beauty, and hidden secrets, Grand Central offers surprises around every corner. A small portion of the tour will take place outdoors. Throughout the night, you’ll visit places inside the terminal you never knew existed! After the tour, we’ll stay at Grand Central for drinks and socializing at the famous Oyster Bar with the group.

- 6:30 PM: Meet across from Grand Central.
- Learn the rich history of the terminal, including the two previous train stations that occupied the site from 1871–1901. You’ll see rare, fascinating photographs that bring the past to life and deepen your appreciation of this extraordinary building.
- Explore the newly opened East Side Access: Grand Central Madison—a major addition to the terminal.
- After the tour, we’ll enjoy food, drinks and socializing at one of the fun venues there.

Can I come alone? Yes about 90% will attend on their own.
What's dress code? Wear what you had on at work. It's casual and comfortable.
What are the ages? 21 and over. We'll have a good mix of ages.
How much to attend? $25 (goes to $35 as event gets closer).
Do I have to buy in advance? Yes. Space is limited and this will sell out.

Bingo Mingle and Match

### What Is Bingo Mingle and Match?
This is a new, fun and interactive twist on traditional speed dating.
At the beginning of the event, you’ll receive a Bingo card. During the event, you’ll be put in small groups to chat. Rounds will last about 10 minutes and the men will rotate each round. Throughout the rounds, your goal is to complete as many Bingo squares as possible by finding people who match the descriptions. The ultimate goal is to complete a full card. There will also be Bingo numbers on the card as well.
Examples include:- Find someone who has more than 2 pets
- Find someone with blue eyes
- Find someone who has seen every Harry Potter movie
- Find someone who is a school teacher
- Find someone who has traveled to more than two countries this year
- Find someone whose zodiac sign is Capricorn
During your chatting sessions you will ask questions that would reveal answers that you can mark off on your Bingo card. The Bingo card boxes can lead to discussions and you will all learn about each other.
Meanwhile, the host will occasionally call out Bingo numbers throughout the event (like B6, N32, etc.).
