Edmonton Inclusive Art jam

Join in the fun every Sunday afternoon at 4:00 pm on the Legislative grounds! (South side of Legislature).  Totally FREE event!!!! for Everyone!!!! Come play, listen, dance or do whatever your creative mind can think of that will enhance the experience of all...

Lucas Coffey first invited Edmonton Drummers to this weekly event to help build community, joy and share the love.  Every Sunday (weather permitting-Spring and Summer) this joyful inclusivity of art forms takes on a life of its own without leaders, facilitators or directors: jugglers , hoopers ,yogis, taichi practicioners, dancers, vocalists, flutists, gymnasts, picknic-ers, passers by  etc.

Drummers need to bring their own percussion instruments (drums, rattles and other instruments etc.), chair, water, & bug spray.  Here you will other percussionists from new to well seasoned drummers (who show up on a regular basis) as well as other participants who love to perform to our inspirational, vibrational, unique rhythmical creations.

GOOD FUN!!!

See you there.........Rat a tat tat, drum, da, drum, da......ta ta for now! <3

OMG Patricia.....it is so beautiful here in Nanimo....My brothers home overlooks the yacht club and we can watch the ferries coming and going all day. Great little city too!

Yes, it is a beautiful place. We used to pick a lot of blackberries there. Have you been to Chemainus yet? You should check out the park there. They usually have a lot of different Musicians play at the water wheel park in Chemainus.

In this text the time is stated as 2pm. In the email the time is stated as 4pm. which is it?

Sorry for the confusion. I believe the text time was changed because some people were meeting at 2 p.m. to practice for the Pride Parade. The normal time for the leg. circle is 4 p.m.; however, people quite often come early on a nice day. Enjoy!

Just so there is no more confusion over the time. Meet and the Legislature at 4 pm.

The title says this starts at 4 PM, whereas the body says 2 PM. I'd hate to show up at 2, and find I'm the only one there for the next two hours. Can we get some clarification? Thanks.

I did not post this but, it was originally 4 pm. Some people do show up earlier though.

Not sure if I'll be back in town in time for the drum circle this fabulous long weekend
If you are new to drumming keep your eyes open for Ernie and Pat.
They'll get some sweet rhythms going for you to join in with.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
