CDMUG September 2012 Meet Up "Newbie Night"

New to Drupal? Not sure where to start?  Tried Drupal but feel lost?  Work with Drupal, but haven't figured out what all the hype is about?? In honor of all the "Global Drupal Training Days" happening across the world, join us for an entire night dedicated to getting started with Drupal. Experts are encouraged to attend to help share knowledge too.

Want to try a free Drupal website? If so, request a "Drupal Test Drive" when filling out RSVP.

Duo Consulting opens doors at 6:00pm for attendees to arrive, socialize, and hang out before meetups.  We try for presentations to officially start by 7:00pm. Comment your RSVP with full name and bring photo ID to gain authorized access to Duo's office downtown.

The Chicago Drupal Meet Up Group is proud to present at least two featured presentations about the hottest Drupal topics each month. We have room for 75 people and all skill levels are welcomed.

Matthew Lechleider will be presenting and leading discussions on how to learn Drupal. However, the Drupal spectrum can be broad with various skill levels and interests of topic.  Depending on audience we can work as one large discussion or break into groups.  Our main focus during training will be a real project to rebuild

If you're not able to physically attend, join us virtually in our #cdmug IRC chat room on freenode. Members hang out in the chat room on a daily basis even when meetups are not happening. If you're unfamiliar with IRC view feel free to utilize our web based chat client @

All meetups will be in traditional CDMUG fashion. No dress code, relaxed attitudes, open ideas, laptop encouraged, remember business cards, and we will go for a beer afterward.
