Our party theme is CONTRIBUTION.
At the party, we will do a short program/presentation from the stage where we highlight and celebrate the incredible contributions of our local community-- both of individual contributors, as well as the companies who often pay them to attend camps and cons and sprints or to work on core or planning activities during their workdays.
EVEN IF THEY DO NOT PLAN ON ATTENDING, PLEASE ENCOURAGE YOUR EMPLOYEES TO COMPLETE THIS FORM: http://goo.gl/forms/E30WlgMbrc
We will be aggregating responses by company, and geographical area (Western suburbs FTW!) and we want to get a good representation of how much we as a local community did.
Throughout the party, we will have a slideshow of contributor logos and usernames and screenshots from the favorite sites you have built.
Because we are celebrating ALL contributions, we are not having traditional paid sponsors for this party. If you or your company want to CONTRIBUTE to the party, you can do it two ways:
• Individuals: if you WANT to contribute, click the Green "Chip in" button on the left and contribute five bucks
• Companies: if you WANT to contribute, please write a check ($250 seems to be the common amount) to Amasis LLC (Manning's company) and give it to Manning. We will not be asking companies who offered to sponsor for money or sending invoices or reminders, but Manning will send you a receipt if you contribute.
