Mention the names "Phillip Hinchcliffe" and "Robert Holmes", and you will often hear a response of "Gothic horror", which....well, it's a bit simplistic, but it means dark, foreboding stories taking shape from tales of the past, but with a slightly sci-fi edge.
For our October screenings at Next Door, two surprises.
One - we're using both meeting rooms, meaning that we'll be able to fit twice as many people as we present not one, but two tales guaranteed to send chills down your spine. We'll start with the recent Hide featuring Matt Smith and Jenna Louise-Coleman. A spooky house, a pair of ghost hunters, and a legend all combine in a tale that feels as much like the Hinchcliffe/Holmes era as any story in modern Who.

Although we have plenty of choices for our classic
era series, we'reopting to go with The Brain of Morbius, the classic Fourth Doctor tale of a rogue Time Lord, a malevolent surgeon, a mysterious sisterhood guarding an elixir of life...and the monstrosity that takes its form from one of the classics of horror.
Just in time for a Doctor Who-style Halloween; please join us for our exclusive pair of classic tales guaranteed to chill the blood, and cause both your hearts to beat faster....
