(Just a heads-up; RSVPs will end on Thursday, October 17th at 5:00 pm. Also, please note that there is a cost to cover the license to show this movie; as a result, people who no show to this event without changing their RSVP may be penalized).

So you couldn't make our Dr Who and the Daleks screening in July...or you did, and you thought, "I sure wish this movie had received an MST3K-style riffing".

Thanks to our pals at the Chicago MST3K Meetup group (https://www.meetup.com/Chicago-MST3K-Group/), we're going to be holding a joint meetup, where we will view the Rifftrax version of Dr Who and the Daleks. It's a chance for us to have a really cool night with another great group, share our love of a popular theatrical spin-off of our favorite show....and well, just have a great time on a Saturday night.

Yes, there is a cost - the $10 fee (payable the night of the event) covers facility rental, licensing of the video, and various other organizer costs. (Thanks to Mike at the Chicago MSTK Meetup for reaching out and asking us to join them!). We'll be gathering at a small pub on the first floor of the Irish-American Center where you can grab dinner and a drink, check in, and then we will head upstairs for the screening around 7:30-ish.

If you want to bring a small group of your friends, please feel free to include them in your RSVP Doctor Who and MST3K cosplay is not only welcome, it's encouraged. If you're part of the MST3K group, you should be able to RSVP via their meetup site as well....and why not check them out in the interim? They do some pretty cool, fun screenings, and they're a good bunch of people. So think of this as a great addition to our 50th anniversary celebration of Who...or, at the very least, a kickoff to Halloween.
