Sunday Evening Hike!

Our regular Sunday evening hike around Griffith Park getting some exercise and enjoying the great conversation, company, and cool views. Come join the fun! http://img2.meetupstatic.com/981263258369601089/img/smileys/smile.gif

The hike runs 2-2.5 hours and about 4-5 miles. Bring water and a long sleeve shirt, sweatshirt, or jacket if you get chilly easily. Optional accessories include camera, munchies, etc. And dogs are welcome!

Park in Griffith Park Merry-Go-Round lot #2 and we'll meet on the south end, which is the opposite end from where the steps are on the North end. http://img2.meetupstatic.com/1723755200050492932723/img/smileys/biggrin.gif For those of you that haven't been there before, here's a Google Maps link to lot #1 that you can get directions from:

However, the easiest way is to get there is to take the Los Feliz/Crystal Springs entrance to the park just off the I5 freeway. Go North on Crystal Springs into the park. At the second stop sign you'll come to a four way intersection. The ranger station should be on your right. Make a left at that intersection, go up the road a little bit, and you'll be forced to turn right into merry-go-round lot #1. Just drive through lot #1 and down the road a little ways and you'll be in lot #2. We meet at the South end.
