Welcome to Dumfries Get Together – a warm, friendly, and diverse women’s social group that’s now proudly celebrating its 15th year. For over a decade and a half, we’ve been bringing women together to build friendships, share experiences, and enjoy all that life has to offer.

We’re open to all women, from every background, who share one simple goal: to meet new people, enjoy great company, and try new activities. Whether you’re new to Dumfries, have lived here for years, or simply want to broaden your circle of friends, you’ll find a genuine welcome here.

What we do

We’re a fun-loving, community-based, non-profit group – our events are organised by members, and any discounts we receive go straight back into benefiting our community.

Each week, we run 20+ events and activities, so there’s always something going on:

• Dinners, lunches, and coffee meet-ups ☕
• Walks, fitness classes, and dance 💃
• Book clubs, arts & crafts, baking 🎨
• Bingo, quiz nights, and theatre trips 🎭
• Day trips and weekends away 🌍

And we’re always open to new ideas suggested by our members!

Membership

You’re welcome to try us out with up to three events in your first month before deciding to join. After that, our membership is just £20 per year. Please note, some events are for paid members only.

We’d love you to come along, join in the celebrations, and be part of our next chapter as we continue to grow and connect women in Dumfries.
