Phil on GitHub

Remember last year, when Phil came out and gave his Git & GitHub talk? He's back again, and dropping some more knowledge. This talk is hosted and organized by the kind students in UH Manoa's IEEE student organization.

In this talk, Phil Haack, a developer at GitHub, will share some secrets of:

• The Software Industry - What is the secret to being a good developer?

• GitHub the Company - What is the secret to GitHub's success?

• GitHub.com the Website - What are secret features that'll help me get the most out of GitHub?

The room number is POST 127, and it's right on the bottom floor, towards the Ewa side of the building.

I've attached the UH parking map below, as well as a screenshot which highlights the location of the event as well as the parking lot. Parking after 4:00pm on the UH Manoa campus costs $6, which IEEE will be happy to reimburse for any professionals who attend the meeting (YMMV).

We'll also try to have signs up for the event so that it'll be easier to navigate from the parking lot.
