Experiments in Swift

Details
WARNING: Will include functional programming (http://www.objc.io/books/) and excessive Playgrounds (https://github.com/PasDeChocolat/LearningSwift/tree/master/PLAYGROUNDS).
A little bit of time has gone by since our last Swift meetup. It's time to regroup and have a discussion on Swift. Bring your questions and helpful suggestions for other folks learning Swift.
The AGENDA is simple:
• Discuss interesting Swift language features (https://github.com/PasDeChocolat/LearningSwift/blob/master/README.md), guided by suggestions or led by my Playgrounds (https://github.com/PasDeChocolat/LearningSwift/tree/master/PLAYGROUNDS)
• Go over the LearningSwiftBasics GitHub project (https://github.com/PasDeChocolat/LearningSwift) that I've put together to guide the Pacific New Media (UH Extension) workshop (http://outreach.hawaii.edu/noncredit/courses/programdetail/3090) in March (beta testing (https://vine.co/v/Oviib0lgmpM)!)
Our focus will be on guided discussion and writing a lot of code together.
If we need to prime the "question pump" I've got a few topics of current interest that we can dive into. Most notably, attempting a functional programming style in Swift.
