I'm Emmanuel Herrero (https://twitter.com/hairarrow), the designer at Real Geeks (http://www.realgeeks.com), and I'll be chatting about
writing simpler CSS with Scalable and Modular Architecture for CSS (https://smacss.com) (Or SMACSS).
Here's a couple of things that SMACSS (https://smacss.com) is:
• Writing CSS that scales with growing applications.
• Writing CSS that's maintainable and more flexible.
• A simpler, effective way to express your designs with CSS
SMACSS (https://smacss.com) is not:
• A framework to build your CSS on. It is more of a method or a collection of ideas for writing CSS.
• A compiler with additional functionality. (Don't fret! SMACSS (https://smacss.com)' ideas do not conflict with compilers! Keep writing Sass, Less or Stylus)
• Magic (http://imgur.com/gallery/YsbKHg1) that makes it easier to align elements with CSS.
We'll be meeting at the Real Geeks (http://www.realgeeks.com)' offices in Kailua, 2nd floor, above the hut for pizza. Emmanuel will solve all your CSS problems. See you there!
Another special thanks to the brilliant folks at Real Geeks (http://www.realgeeks.com) for hosting this meetup.
