Erlang with George (+ DEFCON Highlights)

As a warm-up, Jason Axelson will give us a quick review of highlights from DEFCON 2012.

George Lee, of Ikayzo, will then discuss Erlang.

Erlang is awesome.  Just knowing what Erlang is increases your IQ by 20 points.  This is much like using the word "meta" in a sentence.  Try it!

Amusing, dramatic description to come.  For now, watch this video on Erlang:

Looks like we'll be in the "Presentation Room", which is on the left side of the building (see image below) as you approach from the parking lot.

Very interesting talk. Always nice to see languages with different syntax and use from my languages I'm confortable with :) DEFCON highlights were cool too, seemed like iOS is safer than Android (I'm trying to start a flame war here, just for fun :P)

Thanks for the info Chris. We should also plug Aloha Ruby at the WWW event next week, since a lot of folks today are already going.

We're on the far left of the building, when looking from the parking lot.

Anze, email me at kyleoba at gmail. I will probably be in your area, if you don't mind going early. I will probably head out your area around 6pm.
