Moderator and keynote bios:

Andrew Weinreich, Chairmain and Founder of MeetMoi. Andrew has spent the past 15+ years starting and building businesses. In January 2004, Andrew founded I Stand For, a full service technology solutions provider to political campaigns and non-profit organizations. In 2001, Andrew founded Joltage, an infrastructure services business devoted to building out a global network of WiFi hotspots. In 1996, Andrew launched the social networking space with sixdegrees.com, which over a period of five years grew to become one of the largest community sites on the World Wide Web. Prior to founding sixdegrees, he served as Vice President/General Counsel of Hertz Technology Group. Before attending law school, he was a financial analyst at Merrill Lynch & Co. Andrew graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania in 1990 and earned a Juris Doctorate from Fordham University School of Law in 1994.

Sam Yagan, Co-Founder and CEO of OkCupid. Sam has spent six years as an entrepreneur, first as Co-founder and CEO of TheSpark.com, Inc., maker of SparkNotes, the world’s leading brand of educational study aids. More recently, he has served as President of MetaMachine, Inc., developer and distributor of the world’s leading P2P file-sharing application, eDonkey. Sam has also served as Vice-President and General Manager at Delias, Corp., and Vice-President and Publisher at Barnes & Noble, Inc. Panelist and judge bios:

HowAboutWe - Aaron Schildkrout, Co-Founder and Co-CEO. Aaron oversees product development and spends his days leading a team of engineers and designers to create a fundamentally new way for people to use the internet to find love. Before HowAboutWe Aaron was a high school educator at Codman Academy Charter Public School in Boston, MA. Aaron’s work was featured in, among others, the Gates’ Foundation “High Schools of the Future” curriculum and conferences, Massachusetts Charter School Association publications, the Boston Globe, and the Maury Povich Show . Aaron received his B.A. from Harvard, Phi Beta Kappa.

Ignighter - Dan Osit, Co-Founder. Shortly after graduating Northwestern University in 2004, Dan co-founded Glenpoint Capital Partners, an event-driven proprietary trading firm, where he managed a budget of over $20M and led a team of five traders. In 2008, Dan co-founded Ignighter.

MeetMoi - Alex Harrington, CEO. Alex manages the day-to-day operations of the company, including all revenue generating activities and administrative functions, with a particular focus on commercial partnerships, opening new marketing channels, and overseeing new product launches. Before his tenure at meetMoi, Alex was SVP, Strategy & Operations at Zagat Survey , overseeing the Interactive business, Business Development and Technology departments. Prior to Zagat, Alex worked at Sony BMG and Bertelsmann in various business development leadership roles. Alex began his career as an investment banker, most recently at The Beacon Group. He holds a BA from Williams College and an MBA from The Wharton School.

myYearbook.com - Geoff Cook, CEO. In 1997, at age 19, Geoff founded EssayEdge.com and ResumeEdge.com from a Harvard dorm room. Each property dominated their respective niches: admissions essay and resume writing help. He then sold his companies to The Thomson Corporation where he led the Consumer Market Group for a Thomson Learning division, departing Thomson in 2005. Geoff has been featured in Wired, Rolling Stone, ABC News, CNBC, and USA Today. In 2005, Geoff became the CEO of myYearbook, joining forces with his siblings. Geoff was instrumental in raising $20+ million in angel financing, venture capital, and venture debt to build the young company into the largest US social media site. Geoff has an A.B. in Economics from Harvard University and lives in New Jersey with his wife Kerri and daughter Madeline.

Online Dating Insider - David Evans, Editor; Digicraft, President. David Evans is an independent consultant focused on advising online dating and social networks and associated markets on growth strategies, social media and product development initiatives. In this capacity, he has performed due diligence on social and dating properties and participated in fundraising and M&A activities for the institutional investing community. For the last 12 years, David has collaborated on many groundbreaking and influential international web sites, as well as Internet advertising and marketing initiatives. RRE Ventures - Adam Ludwin, Associate. Mr. Ludwin focuses on early and expansion stage investments across RRE’s multiple technology verticals, with a focus on consumer & digital media, mobile, and financial technology. He is a Board Director at Kik Interactive and Scout Analytics and is actively involved with RRE's investments in HowAboutWe, STELLAService, and LearnBoost. Prior to joining RRE, Mr. Ludwin worked at the design and innovation firm IDEO as a member of the business design team. At IDEO he led a team of engineers as an entrepreneur-in-residence to incubate a collaboration software start-up. Mr. Ludwin began his career at The Boston Consulting Group in New York, where he served clients in the technology, consumer, and financial services industries, and worked closely with the firm’s Strategy Institute. In addition, Mr. Ludwin is a two-time entrepreneur, having built and sold a social shopping platform and later a discussion system for securities trading desks. Mr. Ludwin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar and a Ford Scholar, and a BS from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated with Highest Honors.

SNAP Interactive - Clifford Lerner, President, CEO, CFO, CAO and Chairman of the Board of Directors. Mr. Lerner has served as President and CEO since 2005. Prior to that, Mr. Lerner spent his professional career from 2000 to 2005 at Lehman Brothers Inc. as an Analyst in its Equities division. Mr. Lerner worked as an Analyst in the Product Management Group where his duties included, among other things, coordinating the morning and afternoon equity research calls. Mr. Lerner has a strong knowledge and understanding of the online dating and social networking industries and has managed the product development and growth for all of Snap Interactive's applications and websites since their inception. Mr. Lerner received a bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University in 2000.

Hotlist - Chris Mirabile, Co-Founder and CEO. As CEO, Chris focuses on The Hotlist's overall strategy, financing, business development, strategic partnerships, and is the product evangelist. Intrigued by and working in technology as a developer at 15, Chris has always had a particular interest in entrepreneurship. Establishing two tech companies prior, one that was launched in India and acquired by a publicly listed corporation, Hotlist is Chris’ third and most recent project. In January, 2011, Chris was selected as a Top Five Finalist for the category of Entrepreneur of The Year at the Mashable Awards / 2011 Consumer Electronics Show. Chris' experience also includes consulting & delivering customized technology solutions to algorithmic hedge funds as well as VC & Private Equity banking. Chris studied Finance, Economics and International Business at NYU Stern School of Business , where he became the youngest winner of their business plan competition; he is now a guest lecturer there.

Demo bios:

Brainiac Dating - Lawrence Chernin, CEO and Founder. Lawrence has a background in computer chip design. He has worked for various startups in Silicon Valley and has also done research in astronomy. Brainiac Dating has attracted over 30,000 users in two years mostly by word of mouth and a small amount of advertising. Lawrence holds a PhD degree from Harvard.

Clique - Christy Purington, Founder and CEO. Christy serves as Clique's CEO. She has a background in online editorial with experience at several media properties, most recently at Time Out New York. Mat Brown is Clique's Lead Engineer and Kelsey Rahn is the team's Web Designer. They were both early hires at Patch.com, now owned by AOL, helping it grow from a startup to the company it is today.

eFlirt Engine – Laurie Davis, Founder and CEO. Laurie Davis previously worked as a consultant and creative strategist for Fortune 500 clients. She created eFlirt Expert in 2009 and eFlirt Expert VIP in 2010, the Web’s most comprehensive dating management and concierge service and is considered an authority in the online dating advice sector.

eMatchopolis - Theresa Williams, Founder and CEO of Atwood Technology - Kipici brand. Theresa is the CEO of Atwood Consulting Group Ltd. & former CEO, Atwood Design Group, bringing 10 years of entrepreneurial experience with her. Prior to Atwood, she managed Infrastructure and Systems Administration for the Atlantic Lottery Corporation (managed $12 million IT operating budget and multimillion dollar capital budgets). Prior to that, she was Global IT Project Manager focused on online applications, UPM-Kymmene Inc. Theresa holds an MBA from The Wharton School with Entrepreneurship Major, B. Tech and PMP.

LoKast – Boris Bogatin, Founder and CEO. Boris Bogatin founded NearVerse to create LoKast and build the proximity Internet, and heads up the company as the CEO. Previously, he helped start LightSquared and was the VP of Corporate Development and Technology Strategy for the company. Boris graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with finance, operations management, and systems engineering degrees. In his spare time, Boris teaches his 3 year old son calculus and spends time in the physical world (mostly as an excuse to do primary research).

Luv@FirstTweet - Jonathan Lehr, Co-Founder and CEO. Jon has experience working as an analyst at a real estate private equity firm and on Wall Street in technology business development. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science with a BSE in Bioengineering and minors in Mathematics and Economics. In his free time, Jonathan plays in basketball leagues at the 92nd Street Y and Chelsea Piers and recently took up boxing.

Luv@FirstTweet - Ari Gilder, Co-Founder and CTO. Ari has many years of software engineering and web development experience, having worked at leading technology firms such as Microsoft and Google. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania's School of Engineering and Applied Science with a BSE in Computer Science & Engineering and a minor in Music. He enjoys cooking (having opened his own restaurant in college), biking and the occasional video game.

MeepMe – Matt Newberg, Co-Founder and CEO. Matt is a recent graduate of the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Last year, he was the force behind the launch of Unsubscribe.com (http://unsubscribe.com/) , a venture-funded email startup. Matt's past projects include the Interactive Media Group he started at UPenn to bring engineering, business, and liberal arts students with a passion for new media and startups together. Moonit - Dana Kanze, Co-Founder and CEO. Prior to co-founding Moonit, Kanze served as a director of strategic consultancy Winterberry Group, and honed her quantitative skills during five years at Citigroup's Corporate & Investment Bank and Smith Barney Equity Research divisions.

Parlor.fm - Joel Schwartz, CEO. Joel has over 15 years in telephony. His diverse senior positions have ranged from achieving fast growth nationwide for a start-up MVNO, CellcomTech Inc., to winning the US Government’s contract for immediate development and deployment of mobile devices for the Hurricane Katrina rescue mission. Previously, Joel was the CEO at BSD Telecom, a niche creator of leading edge mobile products that has been at the forefront of developing innovative voice-centric mobile applications that are in use today by millions of consumers.

Refreshing Note - Svetlana Lebedeva, Co-Founder. Recovering from a career in finance, Svetlana got her MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and conceived of Refreshing Note after too many of her single friends complained they couldn't meet anyone in NYC.

Refreshing Note - Geoff Menegay, Co-Founder. A veteran of the software industry and the first dot com wave, Geoff was co-founder and CTO at Going, a social networking site for people who love to go out. Going was acquired by AOL in 2009.
