# From ES5 to ECMAScript 2015 (ES6) and ECMAScript 2016
Intimidated by ES6? In this talk, I’ll show you a few convenient features that are easy to adopt. I’ll also explain how ECMAScript 2016 was created and what features it will have.
## Axel Rauschmayer
Axel is a JavaScript blogger, book author and trainer. He has blogged about ECMAScript 6 since early 2011 and written “Exploring ES6”, the most comprehensive book on ECMAScript 6 (apart from the language specification).
