I really appreciate and value that this group is brought together by a common philosophy of parenting!

There are many ways to practice AP and what draws the moms in this group together is that we all practice, or have practiced, at least one form of AP. Whether you practice all forms of AP, one form, or are just interested in learning more, please know that you are welcome here. I think what makes our group special is the amazing and wonderful moms that are a part of it. Friendships have been formed for moms and kids alike. I really like what this group is, what it represents, and the people and friendships I've made through the group!

We do home and park playdates. We go to coffeeshops and local special events for kids. We also have events to help promote successful breastfeeding and bonding between parents and kids. We have a wide variety of events and are open to any ideas you might have too! The highlight of any of our meetups is that we get together with friends and kiddos get to play together. We welcome moms with kids of all ages. It's really a delightful group of kids! In general, that kind of dynamic only comes when you have a fantastic group of moms (and dads) that are raising those kids!

At this time, we are only accepting women as members of the group, but do encourage dads to participate in family and dad’s-only events. We usually have at least a few of those a month! :)
