Bus Tour of East Bay Cohousing Neighborhoods - Discounted for EBCOHO members

Details
We are pleased to announce EBCOHO member discounts on the first 2011 Northern California Cohousing bus tour, organized by the Cohousing Association of the United States (Coho/US (http://www.cohousing.org/)), this one staying local in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties. See small retrofit-style communities in close to transit and the freeway, and the innovative models used by different architects and developers, and the region's only built-from-scratch "classic" cohousing neighborhood.
We highly recommend the bus tours as still the best way to visit several cohousing neighborhoods and meet other seekers, in an intensive all-day workshop format. Register today, as these tours often sell out well before the tour date.
Once again, we're offering a discount to ALL EBCOHO members (as thanks for making us the largest Intentional Communities MeetUp in the world), not just our supporting members (but they get even more of a discount, so don't neglect to upgrade your membership (http://www.ebcoho.org/dues) for the most-affordable tours).
http://photos3.meetupstatic.com/photos/event/c/e/3/0/global_11512784.jpeg As you travel between each location on a comfortable bus, a Cohousing resident guide or two will give participants a chance to introduce themselves, share general information about cohousing, answer questions, provide fact sheets and site plans, and prepare you for your 40- to 60-minute visit to each community. At each stop, a community host will guide your group through his or her neighborhood and answer questions. We look forward to having you join us for a day full of learning, community building and fun.
IF you register and pay right here through the East Bay Cohousing MeetUp group, you can save $5; supporting members save $10! (supporting members, contact us to get the discount). Dues are as little as $20 a month ($100 a year is the best deal, and includes other discounts and a cohousing book some exclusive invitations to gatherings with serious cohousing seekers and professionals). This makes the tour cost as little as $85, and gets you extra connections and follow-up coaching as part of your membership. JOIN TODAY (https://www.meetup.com/ebcoho/dues) to take advantage of this great deal.
You can also register directly via the cohousing association national website tours page (http://www.cohousing.org/tours/) if you want to pay the regular retail price -- remember, you get the discount with your FREE East Bay Cohousing membership only if you register via the ebcoho.org website using the link at the bottom of this message. If you have a group of 5 or more, contact us to arrange a group purchase.
