Pure Spec BBQ and Tri-Game Nerdament Sign Up

Summer is behind us, and fall is in the air. Time for a BBQ to say goodbye to summer and start planning for Pure Spec!

The BBQ will run from 5:00 to 8:00. Hotdogs, hamburgers, salad, pop, hot chocolate, and other treats will be served, and there will be a toasty fire roaring in the fire pit (bring a camp chair if you're a relaxing-by-the-fire type of nerd). If the night is clear we'll walk over to the observatory at 8:00 and check out the moon and stars. The site is covered, so even if the weather is not behaving we'll be dry and happy.

The cost will be $12, to cover the cost of the site and the super tasty foods. Please pay at the event, in cash.

This BBQ will be both a fundraiser and the sign up for the Tri-Game Nerdament, a multi-game team event that will take place over the next couple of months, with the final showdown at Pure Spec. Sign ups are open to everyone so come on out to learn all about it, and even make some friends to join your team!

The BBQ promises to be an awesome way to meet other folks from the nerd community, and it's sure to be a super fun time!
