Hey,

What's going on? I was just telling my friend last night that the liquor depot is having a sale on beer. Ya, 24 cans for 24 bocks. Ya I'm serious. It's called River Valley beer. Like a bock-a-beer, you absolutely can't go wrong for that price. And I've tried it and it's not bad at all.

ha ha....

So what's the big deal about that? Well it's one of 10 industries that are booming right now. That is cheap liquor ha ha. Funny. They industries that are booming are:

....10 Business Opps That Are Booming

Pet Industry

Affordable Alcohol

Daycare, both younger and older

Health and Wellness

Nanny's (parental outsourcing)

Education (colleges, universities, upgrading, tutoring)

Local Business (Demand is exploding for locally grown and made products)

Discount Retail (dollar store)

The Seniors Market

Green Power

....10 Industries That Are Facing Extinction

Record Stores

Camera Film Manufacturing

Crop Dusters

Gay Bars

Newspapers

Pay Phones

Used Book Stores

Telemarketing

Coin Arcades

Movie Store Rentals

My personal recommendation and I think for someone who's say starting a business on a shoe string budget then definitely "an online business". For the simple fact that you can start a website for next to nothing. Most other businesses, as profitable as they might be, often require a lot of start up capital. So if it falls apart then you've lost your nest egg. Alternative to that, if doing a brick and mortar, then it should be in the yellow pages. If it's not then, not to say it won't fly, but it's gonna be harder as it's not mainstream.

Anyway food for thought.

The next meeting is Oct 17, at 7pm at the callingwood second cup. Please rsvp now below. thanks.
