What's going on with you? It's been a while hasn't it? How's that business of yours going these days? Hopefully good. Ya it's Matt from the Edmonton Entrepreneur Meetup group. As for me I've mainly been working on a few new ideas.
Would you like to potentially double your business in the next year? Would you like to do it at "zero cost"? And what if I told you it would only take you about 30 minutes of your time?
Okay watch.... it's like this.....(this is not just talk, I used this for like 7 yrs)
It's simple, you set up an email autoresponder. (If you're not using one already) It simply would be shier madness to run any business without one. If you're not using one for your website and or business, I simply cannot stress the importance of having one enough.
It's about as important as having a Logo. An autoresponder is that's important! Surely one of the top 5 things you should have for your business. It literally can double your business, and I list one I found below at no cost.
It's use is 2 fold....
1) You use it to set up say at least 12 newsletters. They could be newsletters or personal sounding letters from you to your clients and or prospects or both. They remind your people about your business. This is the perfect tool for: prospecting, sales, newsletter, followups,
2) you can send out random broadcasts to your client/prospect lists. So whenever you want to send out something random (I'd recommend at least once a week) that's what you use that for.
The autoresponder is designed to personalize the message. So you can add all sorts of things into the message to make it look personal. Anything from the clients: first name, last name, email, and more. And have them appearing right in the message.
So your client gets an email. They read in the "subject line their name..." (ie: hi Bob it's Steve Smith...). They open it. Now you start talking about whatever you're doing or promoting or whatever. And in the body of the email you can personalize it so there name will appear in the body copy....
ie: ...."so Bob as you can clearly see there are a lot of advantages to using xyz service...".
So the prospect or client thinks you've taken the time out of your long day to write to them directly. awhhh how nice of you to do that! ha ha.
Again I cannot stress enough the importance of having an autoresponder working for you 24/7/365. If you want to potentially double your business in the next year then set one up and you'll be astonished! It's a form of constant contact with your "client/prospect list"! It's indispensable!
Here's a couple options I found.
(OPTION 1: Good for small start ups with tiny lists)
free one (disadvantage of Listwire is well, they claim to be white listed with many email service providers but I haven't tested them. But THEIR NO COST. I'm blown away by this!!! The challenge though ends up being that they could end up being a fly by night. And what if they go under and you lose your email list. It's those issues that worry me. But for testing a shoe string idea why not. But I'd add some email addresses and test to be sure it's working. Even then it doesn't guarantee you a full delivery, so I'm not sure what else to say, you get the picture anyway.)
(OPTION 2: Good for small to large businesses who want 100% assurance that all their emails are getting through okay)
AWEBER: Click here: http://aweber.com/?415175
Paid Service (advantage is that it's white listed which means 99.9% of your emails will get threw)
This company is basically the industry standard. It's the biggest and the best. It's the iphone of autoresponders. It works like clockwork, I used them for at least 7 years and if you're company is making even reasonable revenues then you want to go with this option. And this is indispensable if you have a website. Like I can't even begin to stress it enough. You'll pretty much double your sales and business by adding it.
Okay and lastly, there's a Meetup next monday. It's at the Mama Pizza at 7pm. Check the site to rsvp now okay. Hope to see you out there.
Master n chief organizer lol ;-p
