EdTech Action - Getting involved in Austin schools

Details
EdTech friends,
April is flying by, and that means we'll be seeing each other real soon for our latest and greatest meetup, focusing on getting YOU connected to the Austin community. We know that your all motivated by education and technology, and we'll be bringing it to you this month as we go beyond the conversation with, "EdTech Action - Getting Involved with Austin Schools." Check out our fancy website with links to cool stuff that YOU should know about! (http://www.edtechaustin.com/edtech-action/)
Don't know how to give back to the Austin community? We'll help you do just that! We'll hear from the folks at Volunteerspot (http://www.volunteerspot.com/) as they share insights on their awesome program and how they mobilize communities to do great things for schools.
Longtime member, first time presenter Geraldine Smythe of Culturebooster (http://www.culturebooster.com/) will discuss project based learning (PBL) and the volumes of research she's combed to create her outstanding edtech tool for schools.
Both are experts in community involvement and both have created tools to help weave together students, parents, schools and communities and we're delighted to share in their expertise and converse about more ways that we can all get involved here in Austin and beyond.
Here's the plan for Wednesday, April 30th:
Agenda:
6:30 - 6:50 - Welcome and announcements
6:50 - 7:05 - Presentation by Manor Aerospace Engineering class students
