EduTech (10): Beta Bill of Rights

Details
Help create the "Beta Bill of Rights"!
Any developer worth their salt needs great partners to beta-test their product. In edtech, the ideal beta-testers are teachers, who are pretty darn busy. How do we help deserving startups find and work with great teacher-beta testers? What should be the expectations--and dare we say, responsibilities?--of both groups? Let's hash it out -- with a fabulous panel of contributors:
• Alan Louie, cofounder of edtech incubator, ImagineK12, http://www.imaginek12.com/
• Mick Hewitt, Co-Founder/CEO at MasteryConnect, http://www.masteryconnect.com/
• Jack West, high school physics teacher & blogger, http://jackcwest.wordpress.com/
• Ben Chun, Galileo HS in San Francisco USD, http://itmoves.wordpress.com/
along with moderator Betsy Corcoran of EdSurge, who has been working on a "Beta Bill of Rights"
(check out out the section in this 025 edition of edSurge: http://www.edsurge.com/back_issues/EdSurgeN... (http://www.edsurge.com/back_issues/EdSurgeNewsletter025.html))
We will have time to meet, greet & grab food and drinks from 7:10pm - 7:15pm, then a panel discussion from 7:15pm - 8:00pm, with time for networking afterwards.
