You'll get invited to our Meetups as soon as they're scheduled!
Election Action is a non-partisan, coalition-based grassroots activist group dedicated to federal, state, and local electoral reform. We discuss, debate, and advocate for common-sense election reform and "good government" objectives.

Issues we are working on right now include:
Instant Run-off Voting (or Ranked Candidate Voting)
our campaign | what is it?
Election Day Registration
our campaign | what is it?
National Popular Vote (elimination of the Electoral College)
our campaign | what is it?
Issues we are also interested in exploring include:
Transparent Vote Tabulation (a.k.a. Open Source Voting)
Campaign Finance Reform (a.k.a. Clean Elections Law)
Election Day as a National Holiday
We work toward legislative victory by:
1) Creating innovative, provocative public awareness campaigns.
2) Lobbying our representatives at the state and local levels.
3) Connecting latent volunteer energy with existing election reform organizations to bolster their campaigns.
Examples of established reform groups we work with:
MassVOTE
Common Cause Massachusetts
ONE Massachusetts
League of Women Voters MA
Coalition of Independent Voters MA
"We sit here and see Eastern Europe and peoples elsewhere clamoring for democracy. And we have it essentially in our laps, but we're just not using it. We watch Chinese students stand in front of a row of tanks, seeking democracy - and all we have to do is stand in front of a pen to write our member of Congress, or in front of a telephone to call Washington. Yet we seem unwilling, and somehow unable, to do that. It really is a tragic loss. Surely one of the major contributions we can make to a healthy, sustainable world is our citizenship, and that's the one piece we mostly withhold."
- Sam Harris, founder, RESULTS (international anti-poverty citizen lobby)
