Finally we are moving on -  this will be our first MeetUp with speakers from two local, but yet international companies. Hopefully you will join us at DIGS in Olav Tryggvasons gate 30 at 16:30 on the 26. of March.

Even after a long history of channel-based concurrency it is not mainstream. In the light of Google's new programming language Go, this lecture will search for shores around the Channel Islands."

From ARM Norway:

Nir Leshem, Hardware Engineering Manager

Header text:   "Designing for low power

"How do HW design and architecture tackle the outgrowing power hunger in today's GPU."

30-40 minutes pr speaker and of course some time for Q A.

More information to come - so keep yourself updated on this site.

Hope to see you and your friends on this MeetUp. Keep supporting the initiative and invite your friends within the community of Embedded technology to join our MeetUp Embedded.TRD .

Update: Food/Drinks will be served from 16:30

SPONSOR: Dataforeningen avd. Trøndelag

Best regards

It was a thrill doing the lecture! A guy asked about hw-programming based on CSP. Here are the two I thought about:

    Handel-C:
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Handel-C

Mobius seems to have moved to Xilinx:
    http://www.xilinx.com/products/design_tools/logic_design/advanced/esl/codetronix.htm

If you study them then I'd be plased to become updated! (Lecture?)

I am sure I could dig up more, as the CSP/occam community in the UK would know. I saw it mentioned in a mail just now.

I would guess some at ARM would know something about this as well. Cambridge and Oxford are not far apart?

Thanks for the meetup and all the great "technical-themed-socializing"!

Several of the people I talked with was curious about the status of Trondheim Maker Faire. And the next happening regarding that is a "Call for Makers" which will be held at DIGS April 9at 6:00pm.
