It was a pretty good panel. And while I understand that after a few go-arounds with introductions and a few topics, how it can devolve into conversation. Which is fine...but the most annoying thing was the refusal to use the microphones. Some one speaking would even take the mic and then hold it in his lap while he talked in a conversational manner (and volume level) to a room of 80 people. EVEN THE MODERATOR DID THIS.
I just want to say that as a meetup organizer, and one who does not guide the panel much, I think it would make a world of difference if the one thing you did do during the event was to encourage the use of the microphones.

Great topic, discussion. Most panelists provided valuable perspectives. Was great that there was plenty of time for fielding audience questions.
