Hi Everyone!
As many of you know, I rescued a mother cat and her 2 kittens back in July. Great news! A wonderful person has adopted the mother on a 1-month trial basis!!!! Let's all hope it works out!!!!

The kittens are doing well on a new medicine to treat internal parasites, so let's also hope they finally kick their stomach issues once and for all very soon! For sanitation reasons (at times, they've been in smaller spaces such as a borrowed kitty condo, etc. - they now have my whole bedroom), I'm on the verge of tossing their 2 LOVELY cardboard scratching posts that our member Jeanine was sooo kind enough to donate (as well as a TON of other stuff)!!! They are well-used and filthy and may have remnants of the parasites on there. If anyone is able to donate any other scratching posts (they say sisal is best) as well as any more towels, blankets, toys, etc - it's HUGELY appreciated. Also, many of these things went along with the mom cat into her new home and now there is less for the kittens. We are doing alright considering. The kittens unfortunately also picked up a type of cold virus and have some eye challenges and I've had them see the vet recently and they are on medication for that and are doing well. Please send out your good thoughts and/or prayers that they make a good sturdy recovery soon. It's been stressful for them on various levels and, this is why I'd ideally like them to have more toys. I'm paying for their vet visits, air-conditioning, additional food & litter, etc., so this is why YOUR donations are so helpful. Gabbi, Michael Brodie, and Mirza are just some of our other GENEROUS and KIND members who have helped as well!!!! I apologize if I've left anyone out - it's been a real whirlwind. Also,I'm very sick this week (not contagious) with mostly respiratory problems (yes, I'm allergic to cats, but I'm going to get a new air filter soon - that should help!). If anyone wants to get them some of the cool "therapy" toys recommended from Cats International site (a GREAT site to know about for cat behavior issues & more), the link is: http://www.pioneerpet.com/.

If you can help, please let me know.
