The Etsy Labs host a free weekly craft night, a monthly Church of Craft meeting, as well as special creative community events. Want to learn to sew your own underwear? Sew your own clothing and totebags? Make jewelry? Bind books? Embroider? Knit and crochet? Then, you've come to the right place.
Craft Night occurs every Monday from 4-8pm at 55 Washington St, Suite 512 in Dumbo, Brooklyn, NY. Each week the Etsy Labs organize a skill-sharing project. (The last Monday of each month is Open Craft Night.) We provide supplies, tools, and know-how. Participants are also welcome to bring their own project to work on independently as well. Craft night is a time to make things, learn new skills, and hang out. Drop by anytime between 4-8pm on Mondays! Demos are held throughout the evening. Craft nights are always free of charge.
This week we will be making bags with Bags for the People, a non-profit organization that provides the public with a sustainable alternative to plastic bags. They use all repurposed materials and give bags out for free. Read more
